DeFi product design: UX DEX trading automation
Move78 joined the Fetch.ai team after a successful pilot, from a tech MVP created by the R&D team, with a view to scale and commercialise the product. The task was to explore, concept and develop a go-to-market plan for their DeFi trading tool.

Approach
User research, brand development, go-to-market planning and product design
We undertook user insight generation, interviewing a number of DeFi users and traders, as well as implementing improved tracking on the pilot product. This uncovered the insight that many of the users were relatively new joiners to DeFi, and were keen to onboard to “web3”.
Approach
Making DeFi accessible to new users
Fetch.ai, a Cambridge-based artificial intelligence lab, is building the infrastructure required for autonomous software agents to begin performing useful economic work on behalf of individuals, businesses and organisations. BotSwap allows crypto traders to engage in advanced DeFi strategies through an automated trades platform and a user-friendly interface, enabling people to manage their liquidity and improve their returns. BotSwap enables users to analyse return opportunities, place stop losses on your DEX LP positions. Create limit orders on DEX trades,to protect from impermanent loss and analyse yield opportunities on liquidity positions. Creating intuitive interfaces was essential to engage this audience, so the Move UX team focused on implementing a strong test and learn program based around user behaviour data driven by analytics dashboards we set up.
